1. What drew you into the world of wedding photography & videography?
My journey in the wedding industry began as a wedding coordinator, where I was instantly captivated by the exquisite intricacies that make each celebration a unique work of art. It was during this time that a profound realization struck me—I possessed a deep appreciation for the finer details that often went unnoticed. Not content with merely coordinating, I yearned to capture the essence of these moments myself.
Driven by this newfound passion, I picked up a camera and embarked on a personal quest to translate the beauty I saw into tangible form. The more I immersed myself in the world of photography, the more I discovered that my vision offered a unique perspective—one that could breathe life into photographs and later on, into mesmerizing videos. I wanted to go beyond the traditional and mundane, and present the world with a visual representation of the sheer magic I witnessed within the realm of weddings.
As I honed my skills and delved deeper into my craft, I was fortunate enough to attract like-minded professionals who shared my vision. Together, we formed a dynamic team, bound by our collective determination to capture the true essence of weddings—the raw emotions, the intricate details, and the sheer enchantment. 2. You are so intentional with the type of photographs that you capture and the way that you style couples on their special day. Where does your inspiration come from when it comes to this?
When it comes to capturing photographs and styling couples on their special day, my inspiration stems from a combination of personal vision and admiration for the artistry of others. Allow me to share the key aspects that drive my approach:
First and foremost, my goal extends beyond merely showcasing how things appear; I aspire to convey how I perceive the world around me. Often, my vision paints a picture that is even more exquisite than reality itself. I strive to capture the essence of each moment in a way that reflects the beauty I see through my own lens. This intentionality allows me to create photographs that evoke emotions and reveal the inherent magic in every frame.
Additionally, I always visualize how the photographs will come together in a wedding album. Envisioning the final presentation helps guide my creative choices and ensures that I capture all the intricate details that will truly shine when compiled into a cohesive collection. This foresight enables me to tell a captivating visual story that unfolds flawlessly when couples revisit their cherished memories through the pages of their wedding album.

The excitement of wedding photography and videography stems from capturing beautiful details, being immersed in the stunning landscapes of the Dominican Republic, the trust bestowed upon my team and I, and the privilege of documenting the range of unique and heartfelt emotions that unfold throughout a wedding day. These elements allow me to create art that celebrates love, preserves memories, and brings joy to couples and their families for years to come.

Firstly, we pride myself on paying extra attention to detail. While there are numerous talented artists in our industry whom I greatly admire, I believe that our meticulous approach sets us apart. I strive to capture not only the big moments but also the subtle nuances and intricate details that often go unnoticed. This heightened attention to detail allows us to create a comprehensive visual narrative that reflects the couple’s unique love story and showcases the beauty of their special day.
Secondly, my team and I have developed a technique that involves posing couples in a way that looks natural and unposed. This approach enables me to create authentic and genuine images that truly reflect the couple’s personalities and connection. By guiding couples through subtle prompts and interactions rather than rigid posing, we are able to capture their true emotions and create photographs and videos that feel spontaneous and heartfelt.
6. How do you guide your couples throughout the process? Do you assist them in selecting their shot list for the wedding or do you work with whatever is sent to you?
I prioritize discussions with the wedding planner and couple to establish a well-planned timeline that allows us to have sufficient time for each aspect of the wedding day. I work closely with the couple to incorporate their shot list and preferences, ensuring a collaborative approach. While we strive to overcome challenges, such as inclement weather, our adaptability allows us to create beautiful and memorable photographs regardless of any unforeseen circumstances.
7. Do you have any photographers that you truly admire and look up to?
I draw inspiration from the work of exceptional fine art photographers who have left an indelible mark on the industry. Talented artists such as Erich McVey, Elizabeth Messina, Jen Huang, and Jose Villa have mastered the art of infusing their photographs with a timeless, ethereal quality. Their ability to capture raw emotions, delicate details, and breathtaking aesthetics resonates deeply with me.
