HAPPY HOLIDAYS LOVES!

We are just a couple days away from Christmas Day and we simply cannot believe it. This is our favourite time of the year, not only because of the amazing food and sorrel lol! but also because we get an opportunity to hit pause, reflect on how we have lived and spend time with our loved ones.

There is no doubt that the past two years came with a heavy dose of gratitude, but it also came with a heap of uncertainty, and to be honest, we are still very much in that state hoping that things get better for us all very soon. In 2020 we felt confused and worried about the reality, but in 2021 things changed, and that confusion turned into heaviness. We started off the year wondering if our beloved company would have survived this pandemic, and as the months progressed we worked tirelessly to ensure that it did!

We want you all to know that all of you were pieces of light at a time of darkness. You helped our company and many others throughout the world to keep their heads up and persevere. This community is beyond powerful and we are eternally grateful to each of you for standing by our side through it all. We simply cannot thank you enough for all that you do for this company and many other small businesses within the wedding industry. We hope that whenever you touch base with us that you feel the love, passion and creativity of this community, and we cannot wait to share awe-inspiring content with you in the new year.

Vanessa and Brandon got married on September 10th at the Marina Cancun and celebrated their marriage with close friends and family. Their relaxed destination wedding in Mexico was such a VIBE, and we cannot wait for you to see it all. If you are looking for inspiration for your ocean view wedding then your search is officially OVER because not only is the venue gorgeous…but the decor, the florals, the bridesmaid dresses and the photography are MAJOR goals!

FROM THE WEDDING PLANNER:

The lovely couple Vanessa & Brandon decided to have their destination wedding in Mexico after their visit in July 2020 when they discovered the perfect venue for them. The famous Marina Cancun Weddings. Vanessa originates from Germany and Brandon from Arizona, they are big foodie people so they decided to run together a German Food truck.

The menu for their wedding was a Mexican Buffet by Gourmet Soberanis. Vanessa is a very hands-on bride and brought some of the lovely details herself, such as her wedding signs and the candle holders. Also, they love the Mexican tiles so they used this as an inspiration for their invitations and as wedding favors/seating assignments. They used Mexican sugar cookies for the guests as wedding favors.

The groom also surprised his bride during their first dance with an amazing fireworks show, and it was just perfect! Then finally, during the cocktail hour and reception, they had a live Sax player to complete the night.
