Today, we’re sharing our first (and one of our favourite) inspirational Editorials from ADRIANA – Issue II! We know that beach weddings in the Caribbean are pretty popular, but we just couldn’t resist showcasing the true essence of this iconic venue, and definitely included a hidden space that couples should definitely consider when they get married at Pigeon Point Heritage Park.
There is truly something magical about Pigeon Point Heritage Park. It is one of those places that has always seemed so captivating to us, so you could imagine how quickly we jumped at the opportunity to hop on a plane to Tobago to create our 3rd Inspirational Editorial for ADRIANA there. From the white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, luxurious ambience and everything in between, there was just endless inspiration all around us. Tobago is just incredible! For this shoot, we decided to work with one of the top wedding designers & florists on the island – Daisy’s Weddings (who is also a member of our AW Vendor Guide) to create this tropical masterpiece that you saw in the magazine, and will see more of below.
Our vision was inspired by the destination wed bride who dreams of adventure! We wanted to create a simple yet elegant shoot focused solely on the bride, her passions, her desire for intimacy, her need to create a meaning life filled with unforgettable memories and genuine connection and love. When it came to her wedding day, she couldn’t imagine getting married in a traditional way, but instead envisioned a day with her toes in the sand, wind in her hair, and nature surrounding her.
We were so blessed to be able to work with this incredible team of wedding professionals, and cannot thank Pigeon Point Heritage Park enough for welcoming us into their tropical heaven, and to Nikolay from NCH Films for producing some of the best photographs and video that we have ever seen. It was an honour working with you all.
Enjoy this darling Editorial from ADRIANA – Issue II!
Working with Cake Walk Tobago was on our to-do list for so long, so it was such an honour to have her design and create this exquisite cake! We’re pretty certain that you would have never guessed that it was a faux wedding cake 😉
Daisy’s Weddings is one of our favourite wedding designers & florists in Trinidad & Tobago. Not only is Sandy an utter joy to work with, but she is also insanely talented, kind and creative! Her decor was perfect, and she definitely blew us out of the water with both the ceremony and reception layouts.
How sweet is this? Don’t you just love it all?!
Our bride from the shoot was such a pleasure to work with! She was open to all of our wishes, and never stopped smiling. It was so fun meeting Khadija and working with her on this project for ADRIANA – Issue II.
One of our favourite details from the shoot was the hairstyle! Mariposa is EVERYTHING for boho hair styling in Trinidad & Tobago. Anya is incredibly innovative and loves to play around with different ideas to create her designs. We cannot recommend her enough to destination wed brides-to-be looking for a hair stylist with that extra bit of edge and fun!
The exquisite gown that you see before you, is from none other than artist and designer Darcel from Van der Vlugt. Darcel’s style is unique, unmatched and superb. We love every single piece that she creates, and therefore knew that one of her designs would have been perfect for the look and feel that we wanted, and we were right!
The bridal look was so charming. Jodi Balfour delighted us with this soft bridal glam, and the end result was everything that we hoped it would be.
Nikolay from NCH Films put together the most wonderful behind-the-scenes film from our special day at Pigeon Point Heritage Park – the truly showcases this gorgeous venue and all that went into making this shoot come to life for our magazine – ADRIANA.
