FROM THE STYLIST:
A picture speaks a thousand words!
That saying was the catalyst that prompted Sandy Sardinha and the Daisy’s Weddings team to produce their styled shoot this past August on location, at the iconic Mt Irvine Bay Resort.
Daisy’s Weddings is known for their breath taking bridal flowers, however they wanted to marry some other elements to allow their couples to totally immerse in an intimate wedding experience and ultimately create memories in paradise.
Unique venues, outstanding menus, distinctive décor, and professional vendors are some of the new services Daisy’s Weddings is weaving together to make their client’s “Big Day” truly memorable. With a desire to introduce their “Intimate Tobago Wedding Packages” and highlight their professional services, beyond their Bridal Party flowers, they embarked on a journey to tell a story in pictures.
Mt Irvine Bay Resort provided the perfect backdrop for spinning this tale as it boasts of options perfect for a garden, beach, historic or indoor nuptial.
No two brides are alike and so the story had to offer a range of embellishments. Unique tablescapes were created with inspiration drawn from the island’s Main Ridge Forest Reserve, the beautiful beaches and lush tropical gardens. Timeless bridal makeup, with emphasis on enhancing natural beauty is what makeup artist Jodi Balfour is most known for, and it made her the perfect fit for the shoot. Hair stylist Kafi, styled the main model, and Tobago sweetheart, Davia Chambers, with soft curls while the younger girls, wore a combo of braids and loosely curled hair, just oh so perfect for highlighting their floral crowns.
Francis Chu Foon Photography skilfully directed the models, and captured their blooms, and the various styled areas resulting in a beautiful storyline.
They invite you to come along on this journey, which ends in happily ever after…Tobago Beckons!
Thank you to the lovely Sandy for sharing this gorgeous Styled Shoot with us, and to Mr. Chu Foon for his stunning images!
