Sunflowers Pop Against Playacar Beach in Playa Del Carmen for this Sweet Couple

As this precious month of love continues, we are craving connection more than ever before. We are so certain that large gatherings will happen again, but in the meantime, we are cherishing the intimate events, and quite moments between couples and their loved ones. 

Our couple of the week, Pablo and Keyla’s story is so familiar, as the pandemic has affected thousands of couples from around the world and their wedding plans. While they had decided that they wanted to tie the knot in Chiapas, they chose Playacar beach for their bridal portraits instead and wow…are their photographs by AW member Dream Bella Photography gorgeous!

Pablo came to Playa del Carmen for work and Keyla just happened to visit on vacation. Coincidence yes, but you only need to spend 5 minutes with these two and witness their contagious warmth and happiness, to recognise that it was more accurately Serendipity.

The wedding: While they planned to have their actual wedding in the picturesque town of Chiapas, they chose to have their bridal portraits on the stunning beaches of Playa del Carmen first and are so happy that they did.  The Covid-19 lockdown came only days after these photos were taken, forcing them to wait months, before they could finally say “I do” at a private home in Chiapas.

Keyla’s advice to future brides: “Don’t let bad times steal your happiness, keep on smiling!”

The theme of their wedding was based on their favourite sunflower – which is very unique because when there are clouds and it is a grey day, the sunflower looks for its companion and they face each other until a sunny day arrives. Well these two are definitely a couple of gorgeous sunflowers, who have definitely found their true and happy companion!! Serendipity!
