When it comes to planning your destination wedding, couples crave custom details. One of the best ways to accomplish this, is through your wedding ceremony, and in some cases even your wedding reception. In this couple’s case, the wedding ceremony definitely made this dream come true, and thank God for that. With a bit of bad weather, and an outdoor reception planned, this couple’s wedding day took a turn – and for the better!
If you’re a purple lover, beach lover, and adore unique details…then you’re surely in for a treat today.

FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
Lisa and Dominic hired a photographer to travel with them for their four-day destination wedding in the Riviera Maya, Cancun, Mexico. The wedding and pre-wedding festivities all took place at the Secrets Hotel and Resort, Maroma Beach. The weather was less than cooperative and Lisa + Dom had planned their ceremony outside with the gazebo and their reception out at the beach. When storm clouds continued to roll in, the hotel quickly transformed an indoor ballroom for a beautifully laid out reception space, and the end result was phenomenal.
Thank you to Lisa and Dominic, and to Chris Klas Photo for sharing this amazing wedding with us!
