Today’s wedding is one guaranteed to brighten your day lovebirds! This bride was fearless in her pursuit of designing her perfect wedding day, and the end result was so magical that we are SOOO overjoyed to share this dream with you today.
So without further ado, grab your cup of tea and let’s meet our first darling couple of the week…Diana & Manny.
FROM THE COUPLE...
“Manny and I met at a mutual friend’s memorial day BBQ 7 years ago. The instant I saw him walk in I needed to know who he was, no, like immediately! We hit it off that night like we’ve known each other forever and we’ve been inseparable ever since” says Diana.
“On Christmas Eve, he proposed to my daughter to then propose to me. How sweet is that? He gave her a necklace and asked if he could be her daddy forever. Without hesitation she said yes! He then got down on his knee and popped the question. I was a complete sobbing mess and barely was able to say yes through my sobfest!”
“We went with very romantic glam. I wanted tons of candles, mirrors, and gold. Candles set such a romantic ambiance and I knew they needed to be a part of my decor. As for colors, I wanted soft tones such as ivory and a hint of blush with pops of gold” Diana explains.
“My fondest memory of the wedding was having our closest family and friends share such a special moment with us in paradise. It was truly so special to share this milestone in such an intimate way. We were able to recite our vows in front of those whom we hold dearest to our hearts.”
“I knew I wanted a low back dress and I was on the hunt for just that. Some dresses didn’t make me feel like a bride and didn’t give me that wow effect. Although I was looking for something a bit different, I tried on my specific dress, and felt like it was the one. I felt like such a bride… it was classic, low back, and had beautiful detail.”
“A surprise we had for our guests, was crazy hour to get the party started! We had dancers, an entertainer in a costume, and another on stilts. It was so nice to see our guests faces light up as they were walking out, it was so much fun and had everyone on the dance floor” says Diana.
“We chose Chateau Cap Cana THREE days before our wedding. Initially we had a more rustic beach venue chosen and after seeing both in person we knew Chateau Cap Cana was for us. The vibe, the architecture, the grounds, it screamed Diana and Manny. We were the very first wedding held at this venue and the team went above and beyond for us. Forever grateful.”
“I did all my planning. I loved planning my wedding and digging into all the details of what would make our day special” says the lovely bride, Diana.

Any Advice For Brides to be & Couples?
“Enjoy your day as much as you can and don’t sweat the small stuff. You can’t please everyone, but as long as you and your husband are pleased you are GOLD.”
