Do you ever feel like if you had a bit more knowledge about the wedding professionals within your country that you wouldn’t have a fear in the world when your wedding day came around?
It is so common to feel this way, and in this case, it’s definitely warranted.
Countless brides and couples contact us on a weekly basis with their grievances, confusion and general overwhelm with how many vendors they can possibly get in touch with. But the big problem they often find is that they have no idea how to single them out, and more so how to choose THE wedding professionals that they know they will love, appreciate and preach about for years to come.
A problem that we fully understand.
It is for this very reason that we created Adriana Weddings, and now today, our “Expert Interview” Series, for all of you lovebirds seeking a little one on one with some of the very best.
Our guest today is Raquel Winchester, a versatile Soprano singer from Trinidad & Tobago. She has sung in multiple languages for heads of state, various embassies to Trinidad & Tobago, audiences from across Trinidad & Tobago’s private and public sectors, and international audiences.
Raquel started her career at a young age, and over the years her musical accomplishments grew to include winning Hal Jackson’s Talented Teens Scholarship Competition in New York City (2006), while proudly representing Trinidad & Tobago, being a Music Festival Winner, serving as the Assistant Musical Director and member of the American University’s co-ed a cappella group (2009-2011), and performing with The American University Chorus. She has also successfully acted in musicals and plays, most notably in the lead role of Christine Daaé in a local production of The Phantom of the Opera (Queens Hall, 2014).
A winner of the Open Scholarship for the Visual and Performing Arts, Raquel earned the honour of performing the Star Spangled Banner at The American University’s Commencement Ceremony, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in a degree with that included a Minor in Music Performance (2013).
