Anyone who ever met this beautiful Bahamian couple, knew that there was just something special about their relationship. And they were 100% right! After having met at the age of 6, their love story is one that was just perfect for this Wedding Wednesday! With Marcian and Kochelle set to wed in October 2017, no-one is more thrilled to take this big leap than the sweet couple themselves.
Check out their intimate Engagement shoot set in one of the dreamiest of Caribbean islands – The Bahamas!
“I have known and loved him since I was six years old, when he would ride through my street on his little bike.”
“We grew up in the same neighbourhood, so I would watch him while he and my uncle played outside together. They were much older, so I was never allowed to play with them as a child.”
“We got engaged on a private island in The Bahamas called Coco Cay. It was very personal and super sweet.”
“The wedding planning process has definitely been a lot of fun, but also a considerable amount of work.”
“I think we would both agree that honeymoon planning has been the best part thus far. We can’t wait!”
“With a wide variety of available options under each category, the entire decision making process has been challenging to say the least, but we’re getting there!”
“We will be getting married on October 28th, 2017 and we are so excited!”
“We will be having a beautiful garden wedding in the fall. We chose this theme and location because it’s a little less traditional and relaxed. Fall is also my favourite season, so I just had to have my special day then!”
“My wedding dress is a fabulous lace fit & flare by Maggie Sottero, and my bridesmaids will be wearing “White” by Vera Wang. I haven’t chosen tuxes as yet, but I am thinking that I will dress the guys in Charcoal grey modern tailored suits.”
ADVICE FOR THE NEWLY-ENGAGED COUPLES
“Always plan with your budget in mind. Remember, a wedding is essentially a party. So, don’t put yourself in debt to try and impress others, especially if you plan on making any more important investments in the near future (i.e. a house).”
Big thanks to the sweet couple for sharing their intimate Engagement story, and our amazing Adriana Weddings vendor Braxton Gardiner Photography for sharing these images with us!
