Lakisha and Eric get married on the Cliffs of Jamaica

Eric and Lakeisha’s breathtaking wedding reception was gorgeously decorated with soft white drapery and fresh white and lavender roses mixed with hydrangeas and greenery that truly wow’d both them and their guests. The incredible fire dancer, the spectacular sparkler show and the epic cliff photographs are just a few of our favourites from this divine Jamaica wedding! It was definitely a fairytale wedding.

FROM THE WEDDING PLANNER:

Eric, a Travel Agent and Lakisha, a Correction Officer for the State of Ohio met at New Generation Church in 2015 around the holiday season. They began dating in 2017 and got engaged December 25, 2018. After several postponements due to Covid, in May 2021 the couple and their friends and family flew to Jamaica to celebrate their wedding. The couple was wed at Borghinvilla Wedding Venue on May 14th, 2021 in a beautiful seaside ceremony.

The ceremony gazebo was decorated with soft draping and an abundance of fresh white and lavender roses mixed with hydrangeas and greenery. The bride carried a tight round bouquet of fresh White and Lavender Roses with Eucalyptus which was hand tied.

The cake was designed by Joy of Food. The Bottom tier was strawberry and the top tier Lemon. Fresh Roses were used to match the décor.

The first dance was lite up with cold sparklers and the night carried on with dancing, a Fire Dancer with a spectacular sparkler show on the cliffs. Long centerpieces full of flowers adorned the center of the tables and falling over the edge onto the floor. Candles and chandeliers lit the room with a soft glow. The guests danced the night away.

Special care was taken to be as Covid safe as possible, including all guests being tested before flying to Jamaica. The guests safety was the priority, while maintaining the beauty and amusement of the overall experience.

A few days after the wedding, the couple came back to Borghinvilla Wedding Venue for an epic trash your dress that started on the beach and ended in a lilac kayak in the pool.
