Modern, botanical and vibrant are the words that come to mind when we think about today’s feature of the week captured by Adriana Wed member Cheers Visual Communications.
A few weeks ago, Cheers Visual Communication sent this sweet, stylish wedding to us and we knew that you would definitely be inspired by the possibilities for your wedding in Trinidad & Tobago. From the bride’s darling wedding dress and blush bridesmaid dresses to the groom’s Ecliff Elie suit and the slamming reception decor, we love the elements that the couple included to make this day truly theirs.

FROM THE COUPLE:
HOW THEY MET
We met at University where we shared a number of mutual friends, but weren’t friends despite both being members of the Catholic Student Movement. After University he went abroad to pursue his masters and we didn’t see each other for years. Years later, we reconnected on Facebook and got closer and developed a romance.
The venue for pictures was very important because we wanted something outdoors and a place that wasn’t too popular and crowded. It was beautiful and scenic at the Golf course.
My dress was purchased in the United States. I wanted something that wasn’t white, so my ivory and champagne dress was classic, comfortable but still sexy. Morilee bridal by Madeline Gardner was the prefect choice!
SPECIAL REQUESTS FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Yes we wanted some key shots that we shared with the photographer via our shared Pinterest board. Although the photographer’s ideas and suggestions far exceeded our expectations and inspiration pictures.
FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
WHAT WERE YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENTS?
- When the priest asked the couple to pray for each other, there was sacredness and respect for that moment, I didn’t hear the words that they uttered in prayer, yet still the care and commitment was tangible.
- The groom’s speech was so heartfelt, he went through each bridesmaid and stated their importance in the bride’s life and that she would still need them. He thanked her father for having brought up a magnificent young woman. Kern’s speech was oozing with maturity and appreciation.
- Ok last but not least, the best man, known social media personality of course had the crowd in smiles throughout the entirety of the speech, my camera was struggling to keep steady amidst vibrations of laughter.
Thank you to Kern, Benesia and Cheers Visual Communications for sharing this sweet wedding with us!
