We know that there’s so much to share, but today we wanted to start off with the “wedding dress” planning process, and let you know how you can still search for the “ONE”, even during this turbulent time. So keep reading for a bit of luxe destination wedding dress inspiration that will make you smile from ear to ear.

How to find the dream wedding dress when you have no idea where to begin

1. Consider your unique style

This is the perfect place to start the wedding dress planning process! Take a look at your closet or maybe even your dream wardrobe (Pinterest inspiration), and you will see similarities in design, cuts, colours, etc, that will be a big help in getting an initial style of dress in the works. In most cases, your designer will probably end up “stalking” your social media profiles for these similarities, to get a better idea of your style to help in the decision making process.

2. Create a Pinterest Board

There is no doubt about it – Pinterest is an incredible source of inspiration for weddings. You can create a private Pinterest Board focused on wedding dresses, and hit save on a few special pieces that really wow you. You can then share this board with your best friends, bridesmaids and even your chosen Bridal Designer.

3. Consider custom design over retail

This is a very personal decision. What we’ve found in the past with many brides is that they may have found two or three dresses with unique elements that really stood out to them, but no ONE dress that included all of the designs in their wish-list. By going custom, you can create the gown of your dreams with all of the intricate details that you would love and one to fit you perfectly also. It’s just a Win Win!

4. Check out Instagram for inspiration

When searching on Instagram for wedding dress inspiration, utilize these hashtags as a guide: #weddingdress #weddingdressinspiration #weddingdressdesigner #weddingdresses #weddingdressstore #weddingdressinspo.

Once you have done this, you will see hundreds if not thousands of images and even video with wedding dresses that you will fall in love with. We promise. The best strategy to take, would be to carefully scroll through the images and pick out just 10 wedding dresses that made you swoon! Once you have done this, you can then go into their profiles, see who the designer is or the bridal store, and check if they are currently offering any virtual consultations at the moment.

Unfortunately, you may not be able to visit a Bridal Store or designer for a few months, so in the meantime, you can get in touch with the company, enquire about some of their dresses and get some assistance to help you lessen the search.

5. Keep an open mind and have fun!

Now more than ever, you will need to be a bit patient with wedding dress designers, stores, etc. in the wedding dress planning process. It will not be easy, and you may get a bit overwhelmed and uneasy during the time, and that is completely understandable, but Adriana Weddings is here to help! Just give us a call or send us an email at [email protected], and our team will help you find the perfect Bridal designer.
