Packing for your honeymoon is one of the most exhilarating times of your life! You’ve married that special guy or gal, and you are ready to take a breather from all of the wedding planning, and dip your toes in the beautiful Caribbean Sea! We know the process can be tedious, so to ensure that you’ve taken the time and packed the necessities, we’ve rounded up a few tips and a list to have you in great shape!

Check it out below…

Packing Tips for your Honeymoon
  • Fold clothes vertically – You can see things at a glance so you won’t need to take everything out, every single day when choosing your outfit.
  • Have pouches for everything! Staying organized is key, and is so helpful. You can use the pouches for: socks & underwear, toiletries, tech supplies, mirror, makeup. Also keep a little pouch in your carry on/purse where you can put your hard drive (for all the camera junkies), lip gloss or must have makeup, face masks (especially for long flights), phone charger, ipad.
  • Downsize products. Transfer all of the larger products into smaller plastic bottles. You can transfer your foundation, perfume, skin cream, face cream, etc.
  • Save samples for travel. If ever you receive sample size items in events, workshops or at the grocery, you can save these items for travel.
  • Toothbrush covers are a must also. You can pick them up at pharmacies or drugstores, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target, etc. If you don’t mind them, you can even pick up the travel size toothbrushes, which are a little smaller but are very effective if you need it. The quality may not be the best, but if you don’t mind using it for a few days, then why not?
  • Put your shoes in a plastic bag. This will prevent any germs or dirt from getting onto your new clothes that you may have just purchased for your honeymoon. Ps. this is an awesome tip that is sometimes forgotten while travelling.
  • Hide your cash in different spots. Put some in your purse, your clothes, and also in a couple spots in your bag. It’s better to be safe than sorry, right?

  • Put laptop or iPad in your back pack or purse for easy access. This will be a big help, since you won’t have to keep checking your carry on in the overhead bin to collect any items that you would need or want for the flight.
  • Place a tag on all of your bags. Even if it’s not a nametag, place some sort of tag that will be easily identifiable. Just in case your bag gets lost though, having a nametag on it will be really helpful.
  • Bring some medication with you. Pain medication incase you get a headache, cough drops, Vicks, etc.
  • Put your phone charger in your bag. If you can, look into getting an external charger because this will come in handy everywhere! Some airlines will have outlets, but not all, so just get one just in case.
  • Wear or carry your biggest jacket or coat with you on the plane, so that you don’t have to pack it. They can take up a lot of space in your luggage, so put them on and create more space in your bag for any more fun items or clothes that you may want to purchase on your honeymoon.
