Darlings, how are you?! It’s Wedding Wednesdays here at Adriana Wed, and as usual, we are trying our very best not to shed a million tears at the pure beauty of this precious couple and their destination wedding in the Cayman Islands. But, we are failing miserably…it’s just too perfect!
Our couple Zachery and Mayzie Kelly got married last October in West Bay, Grand Cayman. They chose a beach themed intimate wedding, and the bride wore the most enchanting gown that you MUST see below. Their photography was done by Adriana Wed Vendor Guide member Rebecca Davidson from Rebecca Davidson Photography, and her honeymoon was spent at one of the most breathtaking hotels in the Cayman Islands – Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa.
Take a look at our feature of the week, and enjoy lovebirds!

“While my family was on Vacation in Grand Cayman, we attended one of the local Christian meetings of Jehovah’s Witnesses and met each other there. He was the first one I saw when I opened the door. It was love at first sight.”

“He and his family were visiting me in Maine, USA. That day we drove to Bar Harbor for a hike and at the top of Cadillac Mountain, he pulled me aside and sat me down and said “I think this is the best time to ask now than ever…(pulls out box) will you marry me?””

“At the ceremony there were around 300 people, and at the reception 70. We have a lot of friends and family and thus decided to invite all to ceremony but with limited funds, decided to just include our closest friends and family for the reception.”

“I chose a beach theme wedding because what better theme to choose!”

What were your favourite moments from the wedding?
Wife: “Seeing my husband burst into tears when he first saw me.”
Husband: “Watching my wife walk down the aisle.”

“I had originally picked out a very different dress from the one I finally wore. But, I ended up changing my mind and was so very pleased that I did. My mother and sisters helped me with the decision and also Kelly from Henry’s Bridal.”

“One of my favourite shots, is the one with my husband and I standing on the West Bay dock and he’s holding me into the air kissing me. I don’t have a specific reason why I like that one most, it’s just a truly lovely picture.”

“My husband and I had a choreographed dance for our first dance, and ended the reception dancing the night away with our family and loved ones.”

“We stayed at the Kimpton Seafire for our honeymoon, and it was very amazing! I highly recommend it.”

Any advice for brides to be/ newly engaged couples?
“Don’t let the little things get in the way of your happiness. Not everything will go smoothly but just remember it’s about you and your bride/groom and nothing else.”
