Have you ever been to the Turks & Caicos Islands? We haven’t as yet, but oh wow do we wish we could take a detour on the way to New York next week 😉 It is incredible, and needs to be considered for your destination wedding and honeymoon lovies. But don’t just take our word for it, keep scrolling to see what we mean!
Now before we write too much and spoil the surprise, it always amazes us when brides decide to go off the beaten path and into the realm of bridal fashion greatness, and today’s lovely bride is certainly no exception to this. After searching for “the one” for quite some time, Mandy decided to pop into Bergdorf Goodmans and finally found her dream dress.
All that we can say is…Rose, Glitter and Polka dots. YES, YES and YES!
So if you’re anything but traditional and are definitely considering something a bit different for your special day, then you need to catch our feature of the week captured by Paradise Photography in the Turks & Caicos!
P.S. We’re heading off to New York for New York Bridal Fashion Week next week, and will be sharing all of the Behind the Scenes action with you all, so don’t forget to follow us over on Instagram at @adrianaweddings.
FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
What’s better than a glass of rosé on your wedding day?… the perfect dress to match!
Mandy spent lots of time trying on white wedding dresses, but none of them seem to fit her personality. Then shopping one afternoon with her mom at Bergdorf Goodmans she finally found the perfect dress! Rose glitter polka dots! What a distinct and festive way to say “I do”! Let’s not forget her handsome hubby…He wore a perfectly tailored dark blue suit that matched her dress so well.
We as Turks and Caicos wedding photographers were so fortunate to have the time to take them all over The Palms Resort for photos! Starting with their first look under the birdcage, then to the “secret garden,” and finally around the spa and on the beach. Their wedding ceremony was held on the beach right before sunset which helped give Mandy even more of a golden glow.
Shenique from Sheque Perfection did Mandy and her mother’s hair and makeup. Mandy wanted a touch of her favorite color, so the reception flowers were elegant purple and white. The drink of the night was rum punch, which also added to the light pink theme. The bride and groom danced to the beats of DJ Dayoh. And for the reception finale, there was a surprise firework display and fire dancer!
What a spectacularly winsome way to end the night.
Thank you so much to the beautiful couple and to Paradise Photography for sharing this gorgeous wedding with us!
