Dyson and Wendii have been quite busy planning for their special day, since Dyson popped the question. The two met, and agreed that their love for each other grew over time like many relationships do. The proposal caught our attention for sure, and once you take a peek at the gorgeous album below, we know that you will agree that Ali K. Films & Photography did a brilliant job at capturing the love between these two for their Bahamas Engagement.
Here they share a little bit more of an insight into their special day.
FROM THE COUPLE:
“We would definitely agree that our relationship grew from friendship to a deep love.”
“Dyson proposed to me on Feb 14th which was most unexpected for me. It was just us two, painting and drinking wine. He was quite adamant that he would not let me see previews of what he was painting, and I thought nothing of it. I painted some florals, while Dyson was busy painting a masterpiece of a man on his knees with a ring box. He showed me the painting and my first thought was, how and when did you become an expert painter. Then I saw the red box on the painting and realised that little addition was not on the original tutorial piece. At that exact moment, he whisked away the painting to reveal the ring box he was hiding behind it. He then quietly asked me to marry him. With tears in both of our eyes, I said yes!”
“The wedding planning process has been surprisingly calm and stressless. I am not holding on to any ideas too tightly. I keep reminding myself that the wedding is only the beginning.”
“The best moment thus far was creating our guest list. It was so nice putting down all our loved ones, and knowing that they will be there to share this special day with us. The most challenging parts have definitely been deciding on budgets for the wedding celebration.”
“My ring is absolutely stunning! He had been asking me to choose various styles for a few months, so naturally he knew exactly what my taste would be whilst picking out THE ring. It is white gold with various diamonds in a three tier square setting which highlights the main diamond. It is petite and perfect for my hand.”
“We will be getting married on February 2nd, 2018 in a beautiful garden in The Bahamas. We both love greens and nature and wanted to have our wedding at this location because it is so beautiful.”
“The groomsmen and groom will be styled by Kedar Clarke for KIS Bespoke. The bridal gown is undecided at this point, but I am sure that I will have a fabulous time choosing my bridal gown.”
ANY ADVICE FOR BRIDES-TO-BE?
“Just remember that the wedding is only the beginning. What comes next is far more important.”
