The past week we’ve been staying indoors, keeping safe and taking care of our loved ones. We have been glued to our phones, laptops and tv’s paying attention to the news and latest reports from the Covid-19, and things seem to be getting better in some areas, and worsening in others. To say that it has been difficult watching it all would be an understatement. Our hearts are broken, and with every waking moment, we continue to pray for all of the families from around the world who have been affected by this awful virus.
In the midst of it all though, we have also seen so much love and support from companies in various industries that have warmed our hearts. We have connected with wedding professionals worldwide, and have started to build relationships with companies that have truly brought joy. We have assisted so many beautiful couples during this challenging time, and have connected them to incredible professionals who we know can guide them, and ease their minds.
If it’s one thing that we know, is that life is truly a blessing and that every day is a gift. So it’s our hope that over the next few weeks, we will receive more positive news and will come out of this stronger than ever. Here for you always darlings, and promise to continue supporting you in any way possible.
For today’s sweet feature, this couple was inspired by the natural beauty of their venue. They wanted a rustic touch, and so included a few elements that would complement Green Meadows perfectly. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, they tied the knot early this year, and could not have been happier.
Angelina’s smile is so infectious, and the gorgeous wedding photographs captured by Cheers Visual Communications will make your day that much sweeter.
Keep reading for the full wedding, and have the best week everyone.
FROM THE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER:
I now consider the weddings of early 2020, to be the fortunate ones. Prior to the threat and caution of the virus Covid 19, the joy of a wedding day could have easily been shared with family and friends.
So it is with great joy that I share the wedding bliss and photos of Calvin and Angelina in Santa Cruz, early February 2020. It was certainly green at Green Meadows with cloud shade and warm hearts of love in a rustic garden ceremony.
Not too long ago a wedding of 50 persons was considered small and intimate. Now gatherings with a maximum of ten are advised. Looking into the days ahead, I believe as long as we have breath in us, there will be love and love stories so I urge couples to get married nonetheless, ten or less, whatever, with the necessary precautions.
What I hope we have learnt from all this, is that life is totally unpredictable, so don’t wait for an unpredictable future to start your forever. The simple things that we have taken for granted, a touch, a hug and a kiss, have so much more value.
Thank you to Angelina, Calvin and Cheers Visual Communications for sharing this lovely wedding with us!
